In a recent address, Mohammad Selim Uddin, a member of the e-Islami Central Executive Council and Ameer of the Dhaka Metropolitan North, highlighted the critical role of dedicated efforts by Jamaat workers in ensuring a significant turnout at the national rally scheduled for 19 July in the capital. Selim Uddin urged party members to work tirelessly to mobilize people from every part of Dhaka on the day of the rally. His message was delivered during a pre-rally gathering organized by the unit responsible for mass communication and procession at Karwan Bazar. The meeting took place at 7:30 pm, where he addressed a large group of attendees.

He stated, “By realising the seven points announced by Jamaat, Bangladesh will move forward in building a new, beautiful society, InshaAllah.” This vision outlines a future where every village becomes a prosperous township free from discrimination, extortion, and terrorism. In such a society, citizens would not need to protest to secure their rights, as their fundamental needs would be met through effective governance.

Selim Uddin further explained that in this envisioned Bangladesh, people’s representatives would serve the public rather than rule over them. He reiterated that Jamaat is working hard to establish such a society, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective action among the people.

The rally, which aims to strengthen the movement, has been called upon by all countrymen, especially residents of the capital. It serves as a platform for expressing support for the party’s vision and initiatives.

The event was chaired by Hemayet Hossain, a member of the Central Majlis-e-Shura, and moderated by Ataur Rahman Sarkar, the Publicity and Media Secretary of the Dhaka Metropolitan North. Several other key figures were present, including Zillur Rahman, Ahsan Ullah, Yusuf Ali Mollah, Kalim Ullah, Abu Sayeed Mandal, and SM Monir Ahmed, who are all members of the Metropolitan North Majlis-e-Shura.
