, the six-episode Marvel Television series explores the aftermath of her time in Wakanda while taking audiences deeper into her origin and identity. “We’re not necessarily going back in time,” says Thorne in the Disney press release. “It’s more of catching up and seeing how those first pivotal moments shaped her, and the person she’s trying to become.”
