Devarjaye ‘DJ’ Daniel, who is 13 years old, gained international attention when Trump highlighted him during his State of the Union speech earlier this year and bestowed an honor upon him.
The young person has been fighting against cancer for six years since being diagnosed in 2018 with an uncommon and untreatable type of brain and spinal cord cancer. Initially, doctors gave him just five months to live.
His dad, Theodis Daniel, shared the devastating news with him.

The young person has been attempting to join numerous law enforcement organizations in an effort to bring attention to his situation alongside his family.
After Daniel was made an honorary member of several law enforcement agencies in Williamson County, Texas, his father spoke up.
This marks the 1,351st time he has been sworn in at a sheriff’s office within the county, having traveled to seven different nations for these ceremonies.
Theodis commented, “Take a look at him; he seems so joyful and full of life. You can never predict what will leave his lips next. This often leaves me feeling anxious, as he tends to crack jokes.”
Presenting Daniel, Trump stated: “Tonight, we have a young man in the gallery who genuinely has a passion for our law enforcement.”
The physicians predicted he had only up to five months left to live. This was over six years ago now. From that point onward, DJ along with his father embarked on a journey to fulfill his aspirations.
As Daniels received his badge from Director Sean Curran, his father embraced him during this emotional moment. Meanwhile, Republicans in the House gallery shouted ‘DJ.’
The following day, Daniel along with his family were present in the Oval Office alongside Trump, where the young boy shared a warm embrace with the president.
‘That was quite an eventful evening last night,’ Trump told them as he clasped Daniel’s father’s hand.

Following his appointment, Daniel disclosed that he had run into the
Tesla
CEO and X boss.
He stated: “I mentioned, ‘Could you do me a huge favor? When you return to Houston, could you send us a Cybertruck over there’?”
Collins subsequently inquires of him, “Has Elon Musk mentioned he would send you a Tesla Cybertruck?” The young person affirms with a hummed “Yeah.”
She posted the brief interaction on her X account, and Musk subsequently replied to the post using a love heart emoji, indicating that the child’s desire for the car might just come true.
