KENTUCKY (WFIE) – This afternoon, Governor Beshear, alongside Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman and members of the Owensboro community gathered to promote the launch of Pre-K for All.
It is a new initiative designed to give every child in Kentucky the chance to succeed, regardless of their background, by investing in early childhood education.

Governor Beshear mentioned his vision for Kentucky’s future as a place where every child can succeed.
“It is about wanting every child to be able to have the American dream, live it, and make sure that the circumstances of their birth or the ZIP code that they live in does not change the life that they could have,” Gov. Beshear says. “Pre-K For All just means that we invest in each and every kid, and treat them like the children of God that they are.“
