Renowned content creator Georgina Njenga has opened up about her personal struggles with mental health and alcoholism.

In an interview on Prince Newton’s show, the mother of one shared her journey to sobriety.

Has Georgina Njenga quit alcohol?

Gerogina revealed that she has been alcohol-free for the past 51 days.

This is an importnat step in her journey towards stability.

The social media influnecer explained that her battle with alcoholism was caused by her struggle with mental health.

Accoding to Georgina, she didn’t drink for enjoyment but rather as an escape from the pain she was feeling.

“I have not been drinking for 51 days,” she said.

“I became an alcoholic to escape mental health, and it didn’t end well.”

She also shared the toll alcohol took on her physical health, causing significant weight loss.

“I wouldn’t advise anyone to use alcohol as an escape. If you choose to drink, do it for fun, not to run from your problems,” she cautioned.

Her addiction to alcohol always led to regrettable actions and online drama, something she acknowledged during the interview.

“Once you take alcohol for the wrong reasons, when you get too drunk, you snap and start doing things that you won’t like,” she explained.

Georgina reflected on how alcohol led to her personal struggles, often resulting in fights or impulsive posts on social media that even her friends urged her to delete.

“I used to find myself in fights or posting absurd things on social media that even my friends urged me to delete,” she said.

Since committing to a healthier lifestyle, Georgina has gained 10 kilograms, which she sees as a positive sign of her physical and mental recovery.

She also opened up about the body shaming she faced, recounting how people made hateful comments about her appearance, particularly when she was thin.

“People were making hateful comments, body shaming me for my skinniness. One even said my tattoos are no longer appealing and look like pigweed,” she recalled.

Is Geogina Njenga regretting breaking up with Baha?

As previously reported, Georgina opened up about her breakup with ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Tyler Mbaya, also known as Baha.

She admitted that while she mostly stands by her decision, a small part of her regrets ending their relationship.

However, she made it clear that reconciliation is not an option, as they haven’t reached out to each other even during tough times.

Georgina also clarified that their breakup wasn’t due to infidelity, but rather certain behaviors in Baha that she feared could become toxic over time.

What hurt her the most, she shared, was not the end of the relationship but the disruption of their family.
