has shared some touching updates, mere months following her and spouse Liam Connolly went through a difficult time.

The pair has revealed they are anticipating the arrival of their upcoming addition.

Vo, aged 41, spoke exclusively to prior to announcing the news on Instagram.

She says they are “extremely excited about the next chapter,” though she acknowledges it feels somewhat surreal following the loss of their child, James, when Vo was five months pregnant in 2024.
“I think as the months go on it becomes more real and a step closer to having our little girl in our arms,” she tells .

Vo went on, saying they were simply marking off the weeks as time passed. They recalled how their initial happiness during what was meant to be a joyful first-time pregnancy journey eventually transformed into an ordeal worse than anything they had anticipated.
“I believe for this instance, due to recent events… we’re describing our feelings as cautiously optimistic,” she explains.
Although pregnancies are typically announced at the 12-week point, Vo and Connolly chose to wait until they reached 21 weeks before sharing the joyful news with their immediate relatives.
“I’m not suggesting we’re entirely out of danger; we aren’t – and let’s be honest about this – but all we can do now is hope for smooth sailing ahead and stay optimistic, okay?” she states.
The baby is expected to arrive on October 7, which coincides with the couple’s second wedding anniversary.
She exclaims, ‘We thought, Oh, it’s all meant to be!’
Vo mentions that after the loss of their child, they were determined to make another attempt at starting a family. They decided to take some time until they felt both physically and mentally prepared before moving forward with their family goals.
”For us it was more like we just wanted to still grow our family,” she says. “So I think that was sort of our priority. And this time around, obviously there is anxiety there.
“We feel like James is almost looking after her a little bit.”
Vo states that going through deep grief and recovering as a team has made her marriage “stronger than ever.”
“And clearly it presented a challenge,” she remarks.
I believe last year was incredibly distressing, and we were dealing with grief and trauma collectively, something I certainly wouldn’t want anybody else to experience.
I am deeply thankful for Liam’s significant support. However, we were also blessed with an excellentsupport system from both our family and friends.
The pair decided to wait a bit more before breaking the news to Connolly’s six-year-old daughter, Sophia—who is also Vo’s stepdaughter and will become a big sister soon.

“We conveyed the news by giving her a small teddy bear that read, ‘It’s a girl!’ And as my stomach starts showing more, I believe this makes it feel more real for her too,” Vo explains.
Regarding her pregnancy cravings, Vo, who usually isn’t one for sweets, now has an unexpected desire for “ cookies and ice cream”.

“And then there are oranges. I’m absolutely fond of oranges. I could munch on them throughout the entire day,” she remarks.
Ho hopes that by sharing their news, they can inspire hope in others.
Following her disclosure of experiencing pregnancy loss, Vo got messages from people who had gone through similar circumstances.
“Ideally, it just shares hope and love with everyone out there,” she states.
