Exclusive: Meet Sun Devils’ Star Commit Zeth Thues

Arizona State Sun Devils’ 2026 Recruiting Class Gains a Key Addition

The Arizona State Sun Devils have been steadily building their 2026 recruiting class, and one of the most recent additions is Zeth Thues. A standout from Saguaro High School in Arizona, Thues has already committed to the Sun Devils, choosing them over numerous other programs. His decision highlights his potential as one of the top players in the class, but it also reflects his personality and interests outside of football.

Thues describes himself as someone who is easy to be around. He says, “I think I’m a person people enjoy being around. Very open and just, and fun, talkative guy.” This approachability is likely one of the reasons he has attracted attention from multiple colleges. Beyond his on-field performance, fans are getting to know more about him through various platforms that cover his journey.

When it comes to hobbies, Thues enjoys a variety of activities. In his free time, he likes to play video games or watch movies. He also values being active and spending time outdoors. “Anything that involves competing, really,” he adds, showing his competitive spirit.

His curiosity extends beyond sports. Thues is interested in learning new things and enjoys discovering random facts or trivia. “I like to learn random facts about any topic or just know random trivia questions, anything that keeps my mind thinking,” he explains. This passion for knowledge could serve him well in both his athletic and academic pursuits.

Music is another big part of his life. While he enjoys a variety of genres, he mainly listens to rap music. “There are a lot of rappers and artists that I listen to as well, but my favorite is for sure Lil Durk. The music I listen to usually depends on what I’m about to do or how I am feeling,” he shares. His taste in music reflects his personality—dynamic and ever-evolving.

Looking ahead, Thues has clear goals for his future. He plans to study mechanical engineering in college, citing his love for math and problem-solving. “I think that suits me best,” he says. Additionally, he hopes to eventually pursue petroleum engineering, a field that is not currently offered at Arizona State University. This ambition shows his long-term vision and determination.

As the Sun Devils continue to build their 2026 class, players like Thues represent the kind of talent and character they are looking for. With his strong work ethic, diverse interests, and clear academic goals, he is well-positioned for success both on and off the field. Fans will be watching closely as he develops his skills and prepares for the next chapter of his career.
