Educators Meet Employers: English Teachers Showcase Skills at Casablanca Job Fair

Dar America organized its second annual English Speakers’ Job Fair on June 22, in Casablanca, connecting 250 English language educators with 25 employers from schools, institutions, and language programs across Morocco.

The event built on the success of its 2024 inaugural edition, providing a platform for job seekers, recruiters, and industry experts to explore opportunities in English-based education. U.S. Consul General Marissa Scott and Bouchra Arrif, provincial director of education for the Casa-Anfa district, led the afternoon opening sessions.

Participating institutions presented hiring needs, internship programs, and development projects, offering direct interaction with educators, administrators, and HR staff. The fair included panel discussions addressing English teaching challenges and featured presentations by alumni of U.S. exchange programs.

Among the 25 exhibitors and recruiters were American Academy Casablanca, the British Council, the American Language Center, Mundiapolis University, EMSI School of Engineering, and Marrakesh American School. Other participants included international schools, language centers, and educational institutions from various Moroccan cities.

The fair focused on promoting English language education as a pathway to global opportunities while strengthening educational partnerships between Morocco and the United States.
