The test demonstrated that ECS-DoT can execute an entire ‘sense-think-act’ cycle every 50 Hertz (Hz) during PX4/Gazebo hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) trials—indicating that the chip has the capability to analyze flight information and modify propeller performance up to 50 times each second (50 Hz) within real-time simulation environments.

This speed is sufficient for numerous real-time control systems, enabling quick feedback for steady flight; therefore, it can be concluded that the chip enhances stability across various settings, offering flight time increases of up to 30%.

ECS-DoT is intended for sophisticated onboard operations requiring minimal energy consumption, like inspections and precise landings. It’s engineered to consume even less power than an average digital wristwatch, which is typically under 1 milliwatt.

Nanoveu mentioned that the subsequent phase of evaluation will focus on ECS-DoT utilizing self-learning and optimizing its flight tactics via sophisticated adaptive-AI methods. The concluding outcomes from this testing are anticipated by late June, employing the PX4/Gazebo framework and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test setups.

Once this testing is complete, we’ll start live drone trials.
