On Saturday, dozens of people attended the annual
Justice for Zachary Bearheels Prayer Walk
.
The walk follows the same route Bearheels is believed to have taken the day he died after Omaha police struck him with a stun gun multiple times in 2017.

His family
said he was experiencing a mental health crisis when he was arrested.
“If we don’t remind people who Zachary is year after year, we’re worried and we know that his story will be lost, and we don’t intend to allow that to happen. On this day, this is something that every Nebraskan should know about and remember,” said Kevin Abourezk.
