Last week, the Kansas Board of Regents revealed that Doug Ball, who serves as both the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Administration, has been appointed as the interim president of the university.
The position now occupied by Dr. Dan Shipp will be taken over by Ball. Dr. Shipp plans to step down at the conclusion of May to assume the presidency at Maryville University in St. Louis. Since 2017, Ball has been serving in his present capacity at Pitt State and he acquired his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from PSU.
