Disney’s Hollywood Studios Unveils 'The Walt Disney Studios' in 2026

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will introduce a new experience called ‘The Walt Disney Studios’ in 2026.

The upcoming attraction will transform the existing Star Wars: Launch Bay into an interactive animation experience.

Drawn from the Walt Disney Animation Studios and the short film ‘Once Upon a Studio,’ the new area will include interactive exhibits and a Wonderland-inspired play zone, encouraging visitors to discover and connect with favorite Disney characters.

“Our movie was created from the heart and stemmed from the wish of all the Disney Animation artists to honor our artistic achievements and show our passion for the studio’s heritage,” said Trent Correy, director of ‘Once Upon a Studio.’

The conversion of Animation Courtyard into ‘The Walt Disney Studios’ is set to start on September 25, 2025. As per Disney, the space will feature shaded areas for seating, creative landscaping, and exciting hidden elements.

Families with young kids will love ‘Drawn to Wonderland,’ an indoor play area based on the concept art from Disney Legend Mary Blair’s ‘Alice in Wonderland.’

This section will feature a flower garden equipped with musical instruments, a Mad Tea Party playset, and an area for exploring Tulgey Wood.
