WASHINGTON, PA — The Tri-State Apprenticeship Summit will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hollywood Casino at the Meadows in Washington, Pennsylvania.

The event is part of a $1 million planning grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission’s ARISE initiative. The grant supports efforts to expand apprenticeship programs across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
The Summit is free and open to the public. Employers, educators, students, job seekers, and community members are encouraged to attend. Activities will include panel discussions with representatives from all three states, along with presentations and networking sessions focused on workforce development.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all registered participants. Check-in and breakfast will take place from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
Feedback collected during the Summit will help shape a proposal for a $5–10 million implementation grant. That grant would fund the expansion and long-term support of apprenticeship programs in the tri-state region.
Registration is open until June 30, 2025, or until capacity is reached. Early registration is recommended.
Organizations interested in exhibiting at the event can reserve a table at no cost. For more information or to reserve a space, contact Dr. Kevin Monaghan at [email protected].
