Delta Force Season Break Launches 19 August for Consoles

Exciting New Features in Delta Force’s Season Break

The latest season for the popular free-to-play first-person shooter ‘Delta Force’ has officially launched, offering players an array of new content across PC and mobile platforms. The console versions for Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 will be available on 19 August. This update, titled Season Break, introduces a range of exciting additions that are sure to enhance the gaming experience.

New Maps and Operators

Season Break brings two brand-new maps designed to challenge players’ tactical skills and teamwork:

Operation Map: Tide Prison

This high-security island prison is operated by the mysterious Haavk faction. Players must infiltrate disguised as inmates, recover gear mid-mission, and solve complex puzzles—either alone or with their squad. For the first time in the game, swimming, diving, and underwater exploration are available, adding new strategic elements to gameplay.

Warfare Map: Cyclone

Set on a lush tropical island that hides a deadly ICBM site, Cyclone offers a large-scale battlefield perfect for intense infantry and vehicle combat. A dynamic weather system introduces real-time changes such as rain, wind, and storms, affecting visibility, movement, and strategy during matches.

Introducing Tempest

One of the most anticipated additions is the new operator, Tempest. Available for free with the Season Break Battle Pass, Tempest is known for being the fastest operator in the game. Equipped with advanced features like an auxiliary spine mobility system, emergency evasion tech, and a charged drill for disarming enemies in close combat, Tempest is ideal for players who enjoy high-pressure frontline engagements.

Enhanced Arsenal and Combat Systems

The Season Break update also expands the game’s arsenal and improves combat mechanics:

  • New Weapons: Players can now access a high-impact assault rifle and a precision compound bow.
  • Amphibious Vehicles: Jet skis have been added for more versatile combat options.
  • Victory Unite System Upgrades: These include a real-time command hub and a new call-in support mechanic to speed up respawn times and improve coordination during battles.

Collaboration with Arknights

A special collaboration with the popular game Arknights begins with this update. Players can enjoy a variety of free collab-exclusive items, including two Amiya-themed legendary weapon appearances, Avatar – Amiya, and Calling Card – Amiya. Hidden Arknights Easter Eggs can also be discovered within the game.

Players can complete missions starting from 11 July to earn Operator Cards for Research – Arknights Force. Completing all missions rewards players with 90 Operator Cards (worth 9,000 Delta Coins). These cards can be used during the Research of Luna – Schwarz·Skyline and for the research of Toxik – Midnight Delivery and Hackclaw’s collab appearance until Research – Arknights Force ends. Hackclaw’s collab appearance marks the final feature in this collaboration. More details about the collab are available through official channels.
