Cutlery Exports Surge 3.55% in 10 Months: International Edition

During the initial ten-month span of the fiscal year 2024-25, the export figures for cutlery saw a rise of 3.55 percent compared to those from the same duration in the previous year.

During July-April (2024-25), the export value for cutlery from this nation was reported at $49.971 million by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), up slightly from the previous period’s figure of $48.258 million during July-April (2023-24). However, when looking specifically at the monthly comparison, there was a decrease of 6.73 percent in cutlery exports during April 2025 relative to the figures from April 2024.

During April 2025, the nation’s cutlery exports amounted to $4.188 million, down from $4.490 million reported in April 2024. Additionally, according to PBS statistics, there was an 8.86% decline in cutlery exports in April 2025 relative to the $4.595 million exported in March 2025.

It should be noted that the total merchandise exports from the nation rose by 6.40% over the initial ten-month period of this fiscal year relative to the same timeframe in the previous year. According to PBS statistics, exports between July and April (2024-25) amounted to $26.896 billion versus $25.278 billion for July through April (2023-24). Conversely, imports into the country surged by 7.55%, climbing from $44.900 billion last year to $48.292 billion within the first ten months of the present financial year.
