Crackdown on Kaduna’s Trouble Spots Yields Results: International Edition (English)

The Kaduna State Police Command has successfully raided black spots and detained 182 suspects in Kaduna metropolis.

The operation, coordinated by Divisional Police Officers, resulted in the recovery of a vehicle, one AK-47 rifle, 31 rounds of ammunition, and 30 bags of Indian hemp.

During the raids, the police recovered items which included one AK-47 rifle, 31 rounds of live ammunition, 30 bags of Indian hemp, 1,600 wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp and one stolen Honda Accord car.

A total of 182 suspects were detained during the raids, with some already charged in court. Others are undergoing thorough investigation, and efforts are ongoing to arrest fleeing gang members.

The raids were carried out in various communities, including Rigasa, Kawo, Tudun Wada, Sabon Tasha, and others.

The operation was part of the command’s efforts to rid Kaduna State of criminal elements, safeguard lives and properties, and restore public confidence.

The Commissioner of Police, Rabiu Muhammad, reiterated the command’s unwavering resolve to combat crimes and urged residents to continue providing timely and useful information to assist the police in their operations.

He assured the public that the state would continue to be peaceful.
