CBSE Class 12 Revaluation and Verification Results for 2025

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results for the revaluation and verification process of the Class 12 exams conducted in 2025. Students who had applied for the review of their answer sheets can now access and download their results from the official CBSE website, results.cbse.nic.in.

To check their results, students are required to enter their roll number, school number, and admit card ID on the portal. The CBSE has emphasized that the revaluation process may either increase or decrease the original marks, and the revised scores will be considered final. No further appeals or requests for revaluation will be accepted after this stage. If any changes are made to the marks, a new mark sheet will be issued; otherwise, the original one will remain valid. It is recommended that students download and print the updated result for their records.

Phases of the CBSE Revaluation Process

The CBSE revaluation procedure for 2025 was structured into three distinct phases to ensure transparency and fairness in the evaluation process.

Phase 1: Marks Verification

Applications for the verification of marks were accepted between May 17 and May 21, 2025. This phase involved checking the accuracy of the marks assigned by the examiners. A non-refundable fee of ₹500 was charged per subject for this service. Once the verification was completed, the results were uploaded on the official CBSE website.

Phase 2: Photocopies of Answer Sheets

Students who had applied for verification were also given the option to request photocopies of their marked answer sheets. This step allowed them to review their answers and understand the grading pattern. The application window for this phase was from May 31 to June 1, 2025, with a fee of ₹700 per answer book for Class 12 students.

Phase 3: Revaluation of Answers

Only those students who had obtained photocopies of their answer sheets were eligible to apply for revaluation. This final phase involved a detailed rechecking of the answers. The process took place from June 6 to June 7, 2025, with a fee of ₹100 per question. This step provided an opportunity for students to have their answers reassessed if they believed there was an error in the initial marking.

Important Notes for Students

It is crucial for students to keep track of all the steps involved in the revaluation process. They should ensure that they meet the deadlines for each phase and pay the required fees. Additionally, students must retain their updated mark sheets for future reference, as these documents may be needed for higher education admissions or other official purposes.

The CBSE has reiterated that the revaluation process is designed to maintain the integrity of the examination system while providing students with a fair chance to challenge their results. By following the outlined procedures, students can effectively navigate the revaluation process and obtain accurate information about their performance.
