Captivating Japanese News: Sunflowers in Full Bloom Across Gunma Prefecture

Sunflowers are now in full bloom in a field in the city of Shibukawa, Gunma Prefecture. Many people are taking photos of the blooming sunflowers in the 1,800-square-meter terraced field. The sunflowers are used as fertilizer for the field. They were planted in March to make use of rough land. Around July, they will be crushed and plowed into the soil with a tractor to become fertilizer. Therefore, the flowers can only be seen until the end of June.
