Capitol Police Chief Bo Luckey said they will have more than enough support and will block off streets around the Capitol.
He said they’ve worked with these organizers for several different protests and haven’t had any trouble.
Luckey said they are there to observe and monitor the protest to make sure everything runs smoothly.
“We will have units in the area to make sure everything is going the way it should. We’re not there to get involved or interfere. We want everyone to be able to come out and exercise their constitutional rights,” said Luckey.
For those looking to do no good, Chief Luckey said his officers are ready to respond.
“Anybody who comes, I just hope that you’re coming for the right reasons with the right intentions, because we will be prepared if somebody comes here with bad intentions,” said Luckey.
