Cadillac began
Celestiq
deliveries on June 24 at GM’s Global Technology Center in Michigan. This marks its entry into the ultra-luxury
electric
vehicle market.
The Celestiq reinterprets Cadillac’s historic Standard of the World identity for the EV era. Starting at 350,000 USD, each unit is handcrafted at GM’s Artisan Center in Warren. Buyers can customize exterior finishes, interior layouts, and materials to suit their preferences.

The Celestiq packs a dual-motor AWD setup with 655 horsepower. It hits 60 mph (96.5 km/h) in 3.7 seconds. A 111 kWh battery offers a range of 303 miles (487 km).
Inside, it features a 55-inch dashboard display, four HD screens, a 12.6-inch rear screen, a four-zone smart glass roof, a 38-speaker AKG system, and a four-zone ClimateSense setup.

The Celestiq leads Cadillac’s EV strategy, joined by models like the Optiq, Lyriq, Vistiq, and Escalade IQ. Over 75 percent of Optiq buyers last month were new to the brand, signaling broader appeal.
The Celestiq sits at the top end of Cadillac’s EV range, while the Optiq targets the mass market. The Optiq outsold rivals like Mercedes-Benz and Genesis with over 1,700 units sold in Q1 2025.
A Cadillac spokesperson stated that the Celestiq embodies the brand’s future and luxury positioning. By delivering a unique, personalized experience, Cadillac aims to strengthen brand loyalty.
