Embroidery has been an inherited skill within the Red Dao ethnic community in northern Vietnam for many generations.

The other category victors featured a captivating image of an Icelandic geothermal pool that looked like an eye, a locally-owned restaurant in Tibet, and a thrilling interaction between a Bonelli’s eagle and a fox in Spain.

This yearly contest honors top-tier travel photography sourced globally, with entries accepted from hobbyist as well as seasoned photographers hailing from the U.K. and Ireland.
