An
actress Mojisola Adebanjo has shared insights into how her departed father continues to shape her life and profession.
In an interview with
Sunday Scoop
She remarked, “The powerful bond I share with my family, particularly with my father, is a cherished childhood memory that continues to influence who I am. The moments we shared—laughing, conversing, just being together—taught me the essence of love and connection. His passing only intensified the value I place on these recollections, which continue to steer the person I’ve become, rooted in family and the principles he imparted. Additionally, growing up in a Christian household under my mother’s guidance, I learned to prioritize God in all aspects of life and embrace values that remain important to me.”
When asked to describe her personality away from the camera, Adebanjo stated, “Away from filming, I am a person who appreciates the basic pleasures in life. I’m laid-back, unpretentious, and deeply rooted in my family values. Outside the limelight, I derive happiness from sincere interactions, peaceful environments, and those close to me.”
When discussing how she deals with difficult periods, she stated, “During such moments, I draw power from my goals, my beliefs, and the passion I hold for my work. Knowing that my efforts could encourage or brighten another person’s day provides me with the bravery to persevere, despite the challenges.”
