MultiChoice has revealed the much-anticipated comeback of Africa’s premier reality TV series, ‘Big Brother Naija’, for its historic 10th season.
Scheduled to debut on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, 2025, the upcoming season offers 10 weeks of engaging storytelling, clever tactics, and top-notch entertainment, concluding with the final episode on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
The selection procedure for this significant season was carefully structured to discover the most captivating and vibrant individuals throughout Nigeria. The audition sign-ups took place between May 3 and May 7, 2025, and received a massive turnout, leading to intense face-to-face auditions held in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 16 to May 18, 2025.
Talking about the new season, Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of General Entertainment at MultiChoice Group, shared her enthusiasm: “We aren’t just revealing another season, we’re honoring a legacy.”
“BBNaija has evolved beyond being just a TV program; it is a dynamic, active cultural influence. It has provided a platform for a new wave of talent, artists, entertainers, and the influencer scene,” said Tejumola.
Although the official theme for Season 10 will be revealed on the opening night, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is set to return as the host, leading audiences through each twist and development of the season. This tenth season features the largest prize ever – worth an impressive GH¢1 million.
Viewers can watch the premiere live on July 26 and 27 only on Akwaaba Magic, Africa Magic Showcase, Family, and Showmax at 6PM (GMT). The Sunday live eviction episodes will also be shown exclusively on these platforms. The 24/7 live stream will be accessible on DStv Channel 198, GOtv Channel 149, and via Showmax.
Featuring a two-night premiere live event, Big Brother Naija Season 10 aims to continue the tradition of its earlier seasons, as enthusiasts anticipate a more lively and engaging show.
