Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has lashed out at fellow artist Bella Shmurda following remarks made during a recent podcast appearance.
The drama began after Bella Shmurda appeared on the
Curiosity Made Me Ask
podcast hosted by comedian Isbae U.
During the interview, Bella was asked if he would ever consider collaborating with
Portable.
In response, he tactfully declined, stating that he didn’t see a connection between their musical styles and preferred to avoid any kind of “wahala.”
“I don’t see the connection between my sound and Portable’s,” Bella said. “I just want peace. No wahala.”
However, the statement didn’t sit well with
Portable
, who responded in a video rant on social media.
The
Zazuu
crooner bragged about his global presence and insisted that Bella Shmurda could never match his level of fame or influence.
“Anytime you wan do interview, no call my name. You cannot feature me,” Portable fumed. “I’ve been to America, London. No be first to blow o, na who dey blow dey go. Which connection wan join me and you? You are a failure. I no dey roll or do music with failures.”
