Battambang, Cambodia, Set to Host the Ultimate Durian Buffet Extravaganza!

Battambang Province in northwest Cambodia will hold its first-ever durian buffet from June 27 to July 3 as part of the annual fruit festival, featuring high-quality, locally grown durians.

The provincial governor stated that participants can enjoy unlimited durian and a variety of Battambang fruits for 80 minutes, starting at 5:00 p.m., in a comfortable setting accompanied by traditional Khmer music,

The entrance fee is 50,000 Riel (US$12.52) for adults and 30,000 Riel for children under 1.2 meters.

Complimentary drinks will be provided throughout the buffet.

Tickets can be purchased directly at the Information Center of the Battambang Provincial Tourism Department.

Durian is primarily grown in tropical countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Known for its large size, thorn-covered rind, and distinctive aroma, the fruit is a favorite in Southeast Asia.

Countries like Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam regularly host durian buffets to attract tourists.
