Bangor Band Mourns Loss of Rock Legend Ozzy Osbourne

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – The Crazy Train Ozzy Experience, a regional tribute group, has emerged as a must-attend act across the country.

The lead singer, Vinnie Cormier, acknowledges the deep sorrow that fans worldwide are experiencing.

Nevertheless, Osbourne’s legacy remains eternally preserved, via Black Sabbath and Osbourne’s individual career.

“They somewhat established that genre of music. Then, like every other band, everyone copied everyone else. And that led to the entire wave of heavy metal. If it hadn’t been for Black Sabbath, the whole music industry would have been completely different,” said Cormier.

Osbourne took the stage at the Bangor Auditorium in 1981.

He was scheduled to perform in Bangor again in 2020, but he had to cancel his tour because of health issues.
