Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has said that, for the first time, green spices are being sold at affordable prices during Eid ul Azha.
In a statement, she credited Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her tireless efforts ahead of Eid to curb inflation and ensure price stability.
Azma noted that the chief minister worked round the clock to prevent any shortage of essential food items in the market-calling it a reflection of good governance and a people-first approach.
She questioned whether similar efforts had been made in other provinces, highlighting Punjab’s proactive measures.
Azma added that Maryam Nawaz personally took charge to bring down the prices of flour, onions, tomatoes, and vegetables.
She also shared videos showing displayed rate lists of reasonably priced green spices in local markets.
