Asma Abbas Sets the Record Straight: “It Was Just a Skin Allergy, Not a Burn”

Pakistan, June 20 — Renowned actress Asma Abbas has clarified that her face was not burned during a makeup procedure, as rumored online. Instead, she experienced a mild allergic reaction.

In a short YouTube video shared recently, the actress addressed the viral speculation about her health and appearance. She thanked fans for their concern and assured them that her condition was not serious.

Asma explained that she had applied a facial mask to reduce pigmentation-something commonly used by young women. However, unlike others, she developed a minor allergic reaction to it.

She further added that people exaggerated the situation, falsely claiming her face was severely burned. “Had there been a major issue, I wouldn’t be vlogging today,” she remarked confidently.

The actress also emphasized that many women regularly undergo beauty procedures, and minor side effects can happen. She urged people not to blow things out of proportion when someone shares a personal experience.

During the video, her daughter Zara Noor Abbas also appeared alongside her. The mother-daughter duo revealed that they will soon be seen together in an upcoming drama after nearly two years, though they didn’t share further details.
