The chosen regions—Oke-Ogun, Oyo, and Ibadan—are recognized for their contributions to grassroots development in arts and crafts, as revealed by Turner when speaking with journalists.

Moyet-Turner stated that her aim was to encourage young children to engage with arts and crafts for improved entrepreneurial growth within the state.

The renowned artist insisted that it is crucial for talented individuals to be identified at the community level, particularly within schools, which serve as the primary institutions for societal education.

Although I haven’t received any local or international support yet, I will dedicate my time, energy, and resources to the betterment of children, who are considered the future of tomorrow.

“Tomorrow begins today, and every effort should be made to positively impact the current generation so they can enjoy a better future tomorrow. I’ve initiated this process, and I am confident that our annual empowerment initiatives will soon exceed five thousand participants per year,” she stated.

She hinted at how developed countries like China have created conditions that foster talent growth, resulting in their current economic superiority worldwide.

In a similar vein, the acclaimed young female artist motivated another 200 kids in art and craft activities, particularly in preparation for the 2025 Children’s Day celebration at the National Museum ofUnity in Aleshinloye, Ibadan.

Mrs. Moyet-Turner thought that exposing young children to arts and crafts could enhance their reasoning skills and boost socioeconomic contributions within their communities. She emphasized that art serves as the foundation for anyone aspiring to achieve exceptional success in their selected profession or career path.

The initiative, aimed at benefiting 1,000 students altogether, will encompass the supply of skills, startup resources, and support to both student recipients and their communities, continuing throughout the duration of June 2025.

At the same time, the CEO of Young Artists Art Hub, who acknowledged the infrastructure improvements under Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership and praised the volunteers involved in making each phase successful, mentioned that institutions located in the Ibadan and Oyo zones would be included in their program by the end of June.
