KCCI is marking 70 years of broadcasting this summer.
To celebrate the anniversary, we’re looking back at some of the significant events and legendary tales we’ve reported on — with assistance from some well-known individuals.
Former KCCI sports anchor Andy Garman dedicated over ten years to reporting on major sports events in and related to Iowa, including the Rose Bowl, Super Bowl, Masters Tournament, Olympics, and other significant competitions.
Garman, who departed the station in 2018, came back to KCCI’s studios on Tuesday to recount stories and key moments from his television career.
