Banyak dibicarakan di media sosial, unggahan dokter sering bertanya kepada pasien setelah pemeriksaan, apakah mereka menggunakan BPJS Kesehatan atau jalur umum untuk berobat.
Dalam unggahan yang ditayangkan pada Jumat (15/12/2023) di akun @mood.jakarta, seorang dokter mengatakan bahwa ia menanyakan hal itu setelah melakukan pemeriksaan medis supaya pasien tidak merasa dibedakan.
Selain itu, jika dokter tahu pasien menggunakan BPJS Kesehatan atau tidak, mereka dapat menyarankan semua pemeriksaan dan pengobatan, terlepas dari biayanya.
Dalam unggahan, dokter menyatakan bahwa tidak semua pasien umum adalah pasien kaya dan berada, atau mereka yang baru menikah atau pindah domisili, sehingga belum sempat mengurus BPJS. Namun, pasien umum akan menanggung semua biaya secara mandiri.
Namun, warganet menanggapi unggahan tersebut dengan berbagai cara. Beberapa warganet menganggap jalur umum berbeda untuk pasien BPJS Kesehatan. Akun @deliann* menulis, “Ada perbedaan antara keles BPJS dan umum (bayar sendiri).”
Apa pendapat BPJS Kesehatan tentang masalah ini?
Agustian Fardianto (Ardi), Asisten Deputi Komunikasi Publik dan Hubungan Masyarakat BPJS Kesehatan menanggapi unggahan tersebut.
Ia menyatakan bahwa pertanyaan yang diajukan dokter tersebut dilakukan untuk menjamin bahwa peserta menerima perawatan tanpa mempertimbangkan biaya.
Selasa (2/1/2024), Ardi menyatakan, “Karena biaya pelayanan yang timbul akan sepenuhnya ditanggung oleh Program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN).”
Ia menyatakan bahwa BPJS Kesehatan berterima kasih kepada seluruh tenaga kesehatan, terutama dokter, yang telah menyarankan peserta untuk mendapatkan perawatan medis melalui Program JKN.
Ardi menjelaskan bahwa kehadiran Program JKN telah berdampak besar pada masyarakat, tidak hanya mempermudah akses ke layanan kesehatan tetapi juga mempengaruhi pembiayaan layanan kesehatan.
Menurutnya, Program JKN telah membuat masyarakat dapat mengakses berbagai layanan kesehatan tanpa biaya.
BPJS Kesehatan terus mendorong orang untuk mendaftar JKN, kata Ardi.
Masyarakat akan memiliki akses yang lebih mudah ke layanan kesehatan, karena Program JKN akan membayar seluruhnya.
Ardi menyatakan bahwa tenaga kesehatan selalu menyarankan peserta untuk memanfaatkan kepesertaan JKN untuk mendapatkan pelayanan di fasilitas kesehatan.
Ditambahkannya, “Hal ini terus dilakukan agar peserta mudah mendapatkan pelayanan, cepat merasakan pelayanan, dan dilayani dengan sepenuh hati dan tidak diskriminasi dengan pasien lainnya.”
