The royal household has disclosed that Norwegian Princess Ingrid Alexandra will be relocating to Australia to pursue her studies at the University of Sydney.
The 21-year-old will start her Bachelor of Arts program in August.
The palace stated that she opted for a three-year program with an emphasis on international relations and political economy,

Alexandra will pursue her studies full-time and reside in an on-campus dormitory for students.
“The royal princess anticipates committing herself to her education in the coming years,” stated the palace.
Alexandra, being the firstborn of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, also stands as the granddaughter of King Harald V.
She stands as the second person in line for the throne, following her father.

Alexandra, who has only recently started increasing her public engagements, will need to withdraw from official responsibilities while she is overseas.
Following Danish Count Nikolai of Monpezar finishing his semester at the University of Technology towards the end of 2023, she has now made her own move.
He currently divides his time between Australia and Europe.
