Kathmandu, May 29 — The British Council Nepal, alongside the British Embassy Kathmandu and Friends of Nepal in the UK, will present ‘Marathon Minds: The Mountains We Climb’ on June 1st at the British Council premises in Lainchaur.
The event will highlight a discussion featuring endurance runner, adventure athlete, and mental health campaigner Sally Orange MBE; ocean rower, entrepreneur, and marketing professional Felicity Ashley; as well as mountain biker, trail runner, and adventure guide Anisha Gurong.
Presented and curated by Duluwa Talks, which is part of the Duluwa Outdoors podcast, this episode will delve into the participants’ individual experiences with topics such as perseverance, psychological well-being, and the significance of female involvement in outdoor adventures. It will be led by Juliana Shrestha, one of the founders of Duluwa Outdoors.
Sally Orange and Felicity Ashley will also discuss their ties to Nepal and provide insights into their forthcoming documentary titled ‘When Life Gives You Lemons-Everyone’s Everest,’ where they feature prominently.
