People are experiencing a “boots-only summer,” where they’re not limiting their footwear choices to just football boots; instead, they’re sporting them casually outside as a trendy overstatement of function.

It seems this viral trend originated in the UK and has now crossed over to the US, where individuals are displaying their ensembles along with their cleats.

It seems that they were the first individual to share about a “boot-only summer” on April 25. In this post, they conducted an outfit check and showcased their boots in front of the camera, garnering 210,000 views so far.

However, do not worry, since Adidas seems to have noticed all the excitement around summer footwear and is releasing the F50 Adiframe, featuring a protective overlay over the studs beneath so they can be worn outside of the playing field, according to reports.
