Experts Call on Youth to Access Social Benefit Programs

The Tech Guide at EE, Justice Lokpobiri, has urged youth to adopt technology and innovation as means to build a more significant and equitable society.

During a recent event, Lokpobiri encouraged young people not only to take part in today’s discussions but to take the initiative in guiding them.

“I don’t view myself as just someone who walks through life. I’m here to live completely and to contribute to making life more significant, not only for myself or my family, but for the benefit of society as a whole. This, in my opinion, is our holy duty as individuals,” he stated in a message on Monday.

Referencing his personal experience, Lokpobiri emphasized the value of developing across multiple disciplines.

Having studied agricultural economics at the University of Africa, Toru-Orua, and completed a professional studies degree at Brigham Young University–Idaho, he is now working on a Master’s in business psychology at the University of East London.

“This route demonstrates my growing fascination with human behavior, drive, and choices,” he stated.

Through his works, such as Insights for Success, Lokpobiri inspires readers to view success differently, not as riches or social standing, but as the capacity to recognize challenges and develop impactful solutions.

In his literary work, Shadows of Nowhere: A Midnight Odyssey, he encourages youth to face fear and overcome their individual boundaries.

Every life event we face is a story worth sharing,” Lokpobiri said. “These narratives are what help build a better and more advanced society. From biblical texts to the nighttime stories shared by parents and grandparents, they remind us of the intricacies of life and our distinct human experience.
