On Sunday, July 6, at 10:41 p.m., local authorities responded to a residence on Woods End Road. They met with a man identified as ‘B.G.’, who informed them that his wife, Glass, was unresponsive. As the situation unfolded, B.G. asked the officers to check on their two children, whom he believed were asleep. When they entered the bedroom of the 3-year-old, they noticed she was not in her crib and the lights were on. This led to a shocking discovery—the young girl was found in a hallway bathroom, partially submerged in the bathtub. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The other child was located sleeping, which provided some relief to the family during this tragic time. Two days after the incident, Glass made statements to the police regarding her suicidal thoughts and the circumstances surrounding her daughter’s death. The cause of the child’s death is still under investigation.
Glass has been charged with murder in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child. After being released from the hospital, she was taken into custody and transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility.
