A New Chapter for Jasmine Roth and Her Family
HGTV star Jasmine Roth has always been known for her vibrant personality and passion for home design. But in recent years, her focus has shifted to something even more precious—her family. While fans are eagerly waiting for the next season of Help! I Wrecked My House, Jasmine is taking a moment to reflect on some of the most meaningful moments in her life.
In a recent conversation with Future of Personal Health, Jasmine opened up about her daughter Hazel’s health journey, which she described as one of the most important chapters in their lives. The 5-year-old has been thriving after undergoing a tonsil and adenoid reduction surgery in November 2023 to address pediatric sleep apnea. For Jasmine, this was not just a medical procedure—it was a turning point that changed their daily lives.
“Hazel is sleeping like a champ!” Jasmine shared. “Five or six weeks after the surgery, she slept through the night for the first time. That meant we finally got to sleep through the night too. She has no issues now—she goes to sleep, sleeps through the night, and wakes up in the morning. Any parent knows how big of a deal that is.”
Jasmine admitted that she had never considered the possibility of children suffering from sleep apnea until Hazel started having sleep issues at just six months old. By the time she was three, Jasmine noticed strange snorting noises when Hazel slept. After consulting an ENT specialist and undergoing a sleep study, the family discovered that Hazel had borderline severe sleep apnea, which caused her to wake up as many as seven times per hour.
Like many parents, Jasmine wished they had caught the condition earlier, but the surgery brought immediate relief and a smooth recovery for Hazel. Today, she is a happy and healthy child who enjoys her bedtime routine without any interruptions.
While celebrating Hazel’s progress, Jasmine and her husband, Brett, also welcomed their second daughter, Darla, in September 2024. Born one month early and delivered under dramatic circumstances, Darla spent 15 days in the NICU. However, she has since made a full recovery and is now enjoying bonding time with her older sister.
With so much happening in their lives over the past year, it’s no surprise that Jasmine took a break from Help! I Wrecked My House. However, fans can look forward to a brand new season filmed in the Roth family’s new home state of Utah. Although HGTV hasn’t announced an official air date yet, Jasmine hinted that the new season is coming soon.
For Jasmine, the past few years have been a mix of challenges and triumphs. From navigating her daughter’s health struggles to welcoming a new addition to their family, she has shown incredible strength and resilience. As she continues to balance her career and family life, it’s clear that her greatest joy comes from being a mother.
