Actor Kang Seo-ha, who passed away on the 13th, will be laid to rest today (16th). At 7:40 a.m., the coffin will be observed at the funeral hall of Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital of Catholic University in Seoul, with the burial taking place at Seonsan in Haman, Gyeongsangnam-do. Kang Seo-ha passed away on the afternoon of the 13th after a battle with stomach cancer. He was 31 years old.

According to the bereaved family, the deceased’s health rapidly deteriorated following the second round of anticancer treatment, and he ultimately could not recover. His passing has left many friends and colleagues in deep sorrow.

Kang Seo-ha’s younger brother shared heartfelt words on the SNS account of the deceased. He described his older sister as amazing, even while enduring the pain from painkillers. “She was so warm that I felt ashamed,” he said. “Please be born as my younger brother in the next life. I’ll be really good to you this time.”

Colleagues and friends have also expressed their grief and admiration for Kang Seo-ha. Actor Park Joo-hyun, a colleague from Korea National University of Arts, wrote in an obituary post: “We pray for the repose of the deceased. Umji… I hope you don’t get sick there and keep a pretty smile.”

Another colleague, actress Seo Eun-soo, shared a sweet two-shot video with Kang Seo-ha on her SNS page. In the message, she wrote, “Yewon, don’t get sick there, eat lots of delicious food and take care. On the day we meet again, let’s share a lot of stories that we haven’t been able to talk about for a long time.” Yewon is Kang Seo-ha’s real name.

The photo released together shows the two smiling or hugging face to face, highlighting their strong bond and deep friendship. Many people have been moved by the touching image, which captures the warmth and closeness of their relationship.

Kang Seo-ha, a former theater graduate of Korea National University of Arts, made his debut in 2012 through the music video of the comedy group `Brave Guys’ to get away’. He continued to build a successful career in acting, and recently completed filming the film ‘The Mangin’, which became his final work.
