Rise in Motorbike and Three-Wheeler Sales in the Country
The motorbike and three-wheeler market in the country has shown significant growth during the fiscal year 2024-25. According to data from the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA), sales of these vehicles increased by 30 percent compared to the previous fiscal year, 2023-24. In the current year, a total of 1,518,752 units were sold, while the previous year saw 1,150,112 units sold between July and June.
Key Players in the Market
Among the major brands, Honda motorcycles experienced a substantial increase in sales, rising by 27.42 percent. The number of units sold went from 1,003,253 to 1,278,424 during the period under review. Similarly, Suzuki motorcycles saw a sharp rise in sales, with an increase of 54.51 percent, moving from 16,876 units to 26,076 units.
United Auto motorcycles also recorded a notable improvement, with sales increasing from 82,683 units in the previous year to 146,018 units in the current year. Meanwhile, Road Prince motorbikes saw a 13.44 percent growth, reaching 22,046 units from 16,049 units.
However, not all brands experienced positive growth. Yamaha motorcycles saw a decline in sales, dropping from 6,562 units to 5,709 units, a decrease of 12.99 percent.
Growth in Three-Wheeler Sales
The three-wheeler segment also showed promising results. Road Prince three-wheelers saw a massive surge in sales, increasing by 87.95 percent, from 1,303 units to 2,449 units. Qingqi three-wheelers also recorded impressive growth, with sales rising to 10,982 units from 5,977 units.
Sazgar three-wheelers experienced a 71.74 percent increase in sales, moving from 15,014 units to 25,786 units. However, United Auto three-wheelers faced a decline, with sales falling by 44.43 percent, from 2,095 units to 1,164 units.

The overall increase in sales can be attributed to several factors, including improved economic conditions, increased consumer confidence, and better availability of financing options for vehicle purchases. Additionally, the government’s focus on infrastructure development and road connectivity has likely contributed to higher demand for transportation solutions.
