CEO Anas Niaz personally traveled from Karachi to Amman to deliver the devices, emphasizing the importance of hands-on support in such critical situations. The prosthetic for Sidra was funded by Mafaz Clinic in Jordan, while Pakistani donors covered the costs for three-year-old Habebat Allah, who lost multiple limbs. Each prosthetic costs around $2,500, which is significantly cheaper than alternatives available in the United States.

Most children require lighter, replaceable limbs every 12 to 18 months as they grow, making Bioniks’ model highly suitable and cost-effective.
Despite facing funding challenges, Bioniks aims to expand its reach to other conflict zones like Ukraine. To help children emotionally accept their new limbs, the company customizes some designs with characters like Iron Man or Elsa, encouraging daily use and boosting confidence.
Sidra’s story is one of strength and hope. After sending a heart-shaped photo made with her new hands to her father still trapped in Gaza, she shared her biggest wish: “What I’m looking forward to most is using both my arms to finally hug my father when I see him.”
