So your kid’s a creative. The type who turns Amazon boxes into race cars, draws on the walls (again), or insists on hot-gluing feathers to everything. Good news: Metro Atlanta still has plenty of art camps and classes this July and August that will help channel that big imagination. And, maybe save your dining room table in the process.

Meet the Masters: TEENages
gives aspiring artists a deep dive into the techniques of the greats—think brushwork, color theory, and a little creative swagger. It’s three days of museum-worthy art-making in a museum setting. Fancy, but fun.
Mable House Arts Center

Mable House keeps things fresh with weekly camps that mix visual art with movement and performance. Think: paint in the morning, drama in the afternoon. Spots fill up fast, and registration closes the Wednesday before each session. Translation: don’t wait.
Marietta Cobb Museum of Art
Marietta | Through July 26 | Ages 5–12
If your kid’s Saturdays are starting to feel like a scroll through nothing, this weekend series is the fix. The museum’s Summer Kids Art program is chill but structured, with age-based classes that keep younger and older kids equally engaged. Think of it as creative enrichment without the weekday commitment.
