(KRQE) – The Oak Ridge Fire is burning near the New Mexico-Arizona border on the Navajo Nation, west of Window Rock, AZ. It’s currently burning about 6,000 acres in size.
Trout Fire burns two structures, grows to 47,294 acres
Some residents in the area have been instructed to evacuate as the fire is currently zero percent contained.

Shelter:
- An evacuation shelter is set up at the Window Rock Fighting Scouts Event Center on Navajo Route 12 south of the Window Rock High School. Donations are being taken at the evacuation shelter. A large animal shelter has been set up at the Dean C. Jackson Memorial Arena in Saint Michaels.
