Pak Embassy Grants Scholarships to 195 Nepali Students: International Edition

Nepal, June 26 — The 13th Ambassador of Pakistan Annual Scholarship Award Ceremony was held in the capital on Thursday. Organized by the Embassy of Pakistan, the event recognized outstanding Nepali students from across the country.

Ek Nath Dhakal, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Nepal Family Party, was the chief guest of the event. He distributed the Ambassador of Pakistan Scholarships to 195 meritorious students selected by principals from 102 schools across Nepal. A laptop was also awarded to a high-performing student for consistent academic excellence.

Speaking at the event, lawmaker Dhakal lauded Pakistan’s continued technical assistance, particularly in education, calling it a reflection of the strong and friendly ties between Nepal and Pakistan. He expressed hope that such initiatives would help foster a shared vision among the youth of both countries and emphasized the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation in other areas as well.

Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Abrar H. Hashmi, reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to continuing and expanding the scholarship program including support for higher secondary education in Nepal. He described the ceremony as a celebration of student success and a symbol of shared responsibility. He also highlighted the importance of encouraging Nepali youths to pursue education, sports, and healthy social engagement as part of the broader bilateral partnership.

The Ambassador of Pakistan Scholarship Programme has been held annually since 2013.
