Paige Bueckers Stars in Dream Collab: New Levi's and Nike Campaign

Paige Bueckers

praising the project as “a dream collaboration.”

Launching in July, the latest from Levi’s and Nike boasts a denim-ified take on the
Air Max 95
, plus co-branded iterations of the familiar trucker jacket and baggy jean silhouettes.

, Keon Coleman, Daniel Buezo. In comments shared with Complex, Bueckers, recently seen walking the tunnel in
a Dapper Dan-designed look
, reflected on her early introductions to denim and sneakers, underscoring the Levi’s and Nike enlistment as a particularly meaningful feat.

“The first pair of denim I fell in love with at a young age was some ripped skinny jeans that were overly skinny, and a little bit high-watery for sure,” Bueckers recalled. “The first pair of sneakers I fell in love with, I think, were definitely some older [Nike] LeBrons or some older KDs.”

As Bueckers explained, she’s “been getting into fashion” lately, with a particular “love” for the world of denim.

“So this is a dream collaboration, and I am super grateful to be a part of it,” Bueckers, who said she first realized she wanted to play basketball at the pro level “in third or fourth grade,” added.
