MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are in custody after Memphis Police said they stole a car and then led officers on a chase.
Investigators said just before 8 p.m., an officer spotted a car taken in a carjacking in the 4800 block of Summer Ave.
The car was occupied by two people, who fled the scene on foot when officers approached them.
After a brief foot chase, a man and a woman were taken into custody.
Police said the male suspect was taken to the hospital after he complained of shortness of breath.
