The governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, has addressed a widely circulated video purportedly posted by a relative addressing the passing of his spouse, asserting that his household continues to be cohesive.
He asserted that numerous such innuendos and attacks on his reputation by critics would not divert him from his dedication to executing the ARISE Agenda and upholding his social pact with the citizens of Akwa Ibom.
While responding to queries from journalists based at Government House concerning the widely circulated video involving his family members, the governor disclosed this information when he arrived at the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, Uyo, for the 60th birthday celebration of the ex-Deputy Governor, Obong Nsima Ekere, which took place on Saturday during the event.
He stated, “Given we’re in politically charged times, such occurrences will likely continue. As for my family, they remain together, as evident by everyone present here with me.”
