SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) – One person was seriously injured in a Thursday-evening crash on eastbound K-42 near South 135th Street West.
The crash, reported between 8 and 8:30 p.m., involved a pickup and a semi. A photo from a witness at the scene showed the pickup pinned underneath the semi.

The condition of the injured person, extracted from the pickup, was upgraded from the initial assessment by paramedics at the scene.
